the 40 years spent in typography have strongly influenced this work, where the plate is used as a support for photographs. the same plate used as a matrix for printing thousands of copies, today it becomes a unique work.

“i have always considered them the true masterpieces of the production chain: once mounted in the printing press, i saw them spinning and magically taking color like they were paintings. that's why, today, i want to see my photographs on that plate that will be unique".

the tear, seen by the artist from the moment he clicks, becomes the detail which changes the image while preserving it and which makes that photograph unique.
